Your trademark is your asset

Protecting intellectual property is an absolute necessity in the digital age. This is the only legal way to avoid unauthorized copying or use of your unique ideas, products or services. Intellectual property protection can cover many different assets, namely brands, designs, patents, corporate identity, products, services and processes.
Many entrepreneurs jump into business development neglecting to put legal protection in place for their business. This omission can be very costly (even the entire business) at a time when the business has already developed. Any startup that has not legally protected its intellectual property is subject to surveillance by people who engage in business appropriation and subsequent extortion.
If your company is registered within the European Union, you can benefit from free financing from the fund for small and medium-sized enterprises of the European Union. The fund covers up to 75% of the expenses incurred for a trademark and the maximum amount of financing is 1,500 euros. It is important to note that the fund only covers the official fees to the European Union Intellectual Property Office, and not those made for legal services related to the trademark. The deadline for submitting applications is 16 December 2022. To benefit from the funding, you need to submit an application before this date. An important condition is that the costs incurred for the trademark must be after the date of application to be approved by the fund.
